was born in Cremona in 1957. He graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan in 1981. From 1981 to 1983 he professionally worked for Angelo Mangiarotti in Milan.
In 1985 he founded, together with Paola Arienti, the “Studio Associato di Architettura e Paesaggio Ori & Arienti “ (which became O + A_Ori Arienti srl_ Paesaggio e Architettura).
From 1991 to 2000 he held some academic activities for the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico of Milan in the role of Main Expert  for the Industrial Design and Environmental Design classes, focusing in particular on urban greening and landscape design.
In 1995  he held some lessons in connection to the master course  "The project of the urban furniture: the detail quality of public spaces", The course was held at  the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico in Milan.
In 2005 he was the visiting professor at the University of Genoa, where he lectured on the themes of landscape and environmental recovery.
